OUR PASSION

Building a better future.

The Tonto Dikeh Foundation is a non-governmental organization founded by the Nollywood Actress, Tonto Dikeh.

The Foundation was established in the year 2000 with clear vision and passion of making life better for all displaced and under privilege women, girls, youth, and children in Africa, in-respective of their Politically, Religious and Cultural differences.

It also aims at organizing regular sensitization programs and symposium discussion that will bring sanity and civility to the black race; by taking issues that affect women, gender issues, rape, empowerment, climate change and child right.

Looking into the alarming rise in societal ill against women and children in Africa, we realised that the society is too quiet and shying away from the truth. We decided to step up our strategy and create events that will address all these challenges and adequately inform our women and children. As we know the power in getting the right information at the right time, we can’t deny challenges facing Africa, most of which are well captured in the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As a celebrity founded Non-Governmental Organisation, we believe our voices will count and our impact will be easily felt, as we can reach hundreds of thousands in one campaign. As a role model, it is our responsibility to affect as much lives as we can.

The Tonto Dikeh Foundation shall continue to dedicate its resources, time and passion into making a difference in those particular sectors as we feel they are the most vulnerable in the society and shall constantly create conducive atmosphere for all displaced children, community women, rendering free adequate care and promoting talents. As a matter of fact we are committed to building a better future for Africa.

But we can do small things with great love.” You can be contributing small amount on monthly basis then you would later realize you have done so much for so many people with your small monthly contribution.
