The Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) medical team of The University of Abuja Teaching Hospital brought cases of three other babies to our notice as well, Baby Tukur with the case of necrotizing faxcitis, Baby Ajiji with the case of congenital hydrocephalus and Baby Vincent with the case of sepsis with congenital heart disease. We will be going back to visit them again on Wednesday, 18th March to check on them and offer support in the best way we can to ensure that they are well treated.

SUCH TINY BODIES WITH SO MUCH PAIN..

The Tonto Dikeh Foundation today in the company of The Aisha Foundation and @kingandredikehfoundation paid a visit to Baby Solomon Sunday, a 7 month old baby with an infection which the medical team at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagalada is still carrying out medical investigations to know the exact kind of infection it is. For now he is being administered Rocephin injections while investigations are still ongoing. The infection which is spreading rapidly with deep sores and rashes all over his body including his head makes him very uncomfortable as it keeps itching nonstop. The Tonto Dikeh Foundation has taken up Baby Solomon’s case and we will do whatever it takes, Godwilling to see that he receives proper treatment and recovers fully and quickly. The Tonto Dikeh Foundation has made the required payment for proper diagnosis and continuous treatment. We also bought a few things for their unkeep( diapers and food items for Baby Solomon parents)…We are waiting on the medical team to do a good job as we keep praying for Baby Solomon.
